Wifey will shortly fullfil her fantasy (not the one involving Piers Brosnan) when we move to a house with a dressing room which I have been asked to fit out with hanging rails etc. It isn't massive ( 9 x 6) but it needs to look better (apparently) than buying self assembly clothes rails from Argos which is what I had in mind.

Should I get a joiner in or will some of those chrome rails and Ikea shelves do the jobbie?

Even though it is a little expensive, the benefits of using Elfa shelving will be remembered long after you have forgetten the price.

I fitted out the dressing room with this, and I have reconfigured it twice since then, by purchasing new parts.

The beauty of the system is you screw a top rail to the wall, and this is the only work you need to do. Everything else then hangs from this. Very cool, and very configurable.

I am not an Elfa sales guy, just a happy customer. I liked it so much I have fitted out another bedroom with it, and also used it in the garage for a wall of storage.

My dressing room is 10 by 5 foot 9, almost the same size, and I have managed to squeeze in over 6 metres of hanging space, if you have no window you could probably get more.

I get it from 'A Place for Everything' - fast delivery - clear website.

Tip - stay away from the wood trims, you don't need them and they bump the price up considerably.
