Fixed my bill and now talk of price falls, should I switch again to get the benefit of the price falls?

Not sure if you can if you have 'signined' a fixed term contract and are out side the cooling off period (which but "a couple of months ago..." I would say has long since cooled.)

When I get offered a deal like that by a big company it makes me wonder if they know something I don't.

I'm sure I read somewhere that a lot of companies will pay your get-out fee if you switch to them. Line one up then call your suppliers cancellation/retentions! number. I'm sure they will get you a better deal FOC!
