boiler not firing up, pump seems to be running

Hi. Thank you for those information, it has been very helpful. I would like to know what to do in cass of pump failure, lack of water or a blockage stopping the water being pumped away.
1. Do I need a new pump??
2. How to I get rid of the blockage??
