A very random thought popped into my head the other day and i thought id ask pistonheads lol.

Is there anything you can put in a room, which doesent let off smoke (no chimney needed) and heats the room up?

Sort of like a huge candle with an extra thick wick in a metal bowl or something lol

Oil filled electric radiators.

Most electrickery heating is expensive to run, so get your gas CH sorted ASAP.

A 120w light bulb was all I needed to keep my living room warm at uni during the winter. A shame Europe decided that the heat it produced was a waste, really.

A radiator tapped into next door's central heating?

Or....

A few jumpers (one for you and some for guests).

An exercise bicycle would help you to keep warm.

Buy a tent, set it up in the middle of the room, climb in and zip it up. Your own body heat will soon warm the space.

Hamsters, lots of them, in cages, running in those wheelie things. Should create some heat if enough are employed in doing so. Mind, noise might be a problem.
