It's not strictly an 0Ring but it's a complicatedish part where I can't get a direct replacement.

What are my options here, could I use a gasket sealent? The ones you use on cars to fix this as it's causing my pressure washer to lose pressure!

Inlet or outlet? Static or dynamic? Rotating or reciprocating? Does it see pressure? If so, how much? Does the original have back-up rings?

That sounds like a check valve.

In line with the piston??

Get a small box of mixed air con O rings the green ones, you may find one that matches.

It's like a rubber boot and does look like a check valve seal. It's got a metal circle thing tucked inside aswell..

Here is a pic..

Am I not better off just putting a new pump on? Or a second hand one from this era?

I don't think you need a new pump.
HP pumps last a long time, very little wear as there is no combustion.
But I would advise changing all three check valves, cos if one has gone etc etc.

Search for a check valve kit, that would be the valves and o rings,

What make is the pump?

It just says KEW and the plastic cover over it says KEW 3002kb.

It's quite an old pressure washer so finding this check valve isn't easy.

I think Kew is now part of Nilfisk-ALTO. Contact them and see if they can put you in touch with a service components company.

It might also be worth investigating the cost of a new pressure washer. They are often so cheap it doesn't make sense paying fortunes for replacement parts although I do appreciate the frustration of knowing only a small part has failed.
