Discussion
Hi, we have chosen B&Q Varilight (screwless) switches for our kitchen refurb but have a couple of issues. The main one is that in the Utility we have an electric Manrose extractor fan (for the tumble drier). Now B&Q do not do a switch for this, it currently has a Crabtree isolator switch. I appreciate that I cannot use a normal light switch but is there any option as I would like them to match.
We also have a BT phone socket in the kitchen, do these only come in white plastic?
Thanks in advance for any help

One question, what is the difference between a 2 way switch and an intermediate switch?
Intermediate switch (L1 twice and L2 twice) will only be used if you have three or more light switches controlling one light, say in the middle of a hallway, with other switches at each end, ones at either end will be two way switches ( com, L1, L2 )Basically they connect and switch differently.
If its a light controlled by one or two switches its the two way switch you will need although if it is one switch controlling one light a one way switch could also be used.
If you have two switches on the same faceplate controlling two seperate lights then You also need it to be "two gang"
Three switches one the same faceplate controlling three seperate lights would be " three gang"
