It's a different World in London! That's just mental. How can a house like that fetch the same amount as the value of a decent sized house in most parts of the country, every month! What's the value of this place? Who would be their targeted market? I can't understand why people would spend so much on rent. Why not buy? Is it a short term job? Also, the people who buy these places and spend so much money on them, must be worth silly amounts of money. Crazy. How some people live....

PS. According to Streetview, the road looks crap!

It's Olympics fever. I don't know the area but would very much doubt £3.5m pa is any where near normal!

A £30m pad in London is relatively rare and won't make 10% pa return.

Either way what a home!

I love the stonework throughout, thats called bookmatching when the stone is laid in those patterns, basically the original slab made at the quarry is cut into large slab sizes of approx 1200x1200. Very expensive but beautiful and one day Rodney i WILL have that (even if its just one slab hehe )

That's also for sale, around £6million I believe. A tad expensive for Hackney!

I'll raise you this if you want to splash out!

WTF???

Is it just me, or is it truly horrific? One assumes it also comes with suitable stabling for the winged horse of Chav tat?

First is an Olympic job. Supply and demand and all that. The second is a short let, so would expect it to go at probably 20-40% of that price on a normal let.

Short let so the equivalent of a holiday let but in London. Would have to be some mad rich people to rent any of these.

Has it even got a driveway or garage?! For £6m I'd NEED a garage to park the Veyron and several other cars!

I frequently read on this forum that the reason that london prices are so high is because it is full of top flight business people and highly astute financial wizards

Then i see what they get for their money

I think i know why the world of banking is down the stter

Its full of gullible retards

It's BS, ste road, someone trying it on...more to be 'the most expensive rental' as a vanity thing but it will just sit on the market for months, even years.

Some people do not have a clue, the bookmarking is probably the nicest bit about the property and the choice of stone isn't even that great...stone for a Bedroom floor???

But it's obviously marketed at the Olympic crowd, so who knows whether it will get let or not. There will be some big money about, and it's not in a bad location for it.
