It's a different World in London! That's just mental. How can a house like that fetch the same amount as the value of a decent sized house in most parts of the country, every month! What's the value of this place? Who would be their targeted market? I can't understand why people would spend so much on rent. Why not buy? Is it a short term job? Also, the people who buy these places and spend so much money on them, must be worth silly amounts of money. Crazy. How some people live....

A £30m pad in London is relatively rare and won't make 10% pa return.

I love the stonework throughout, thats called bookmatching when the stone is laid in those patterns, basically the original slab made at the quarry is cut into large slab sizes of approx 1200x1200. Very expensive but beautiful and one day Rodney i WILL have that (even if its just one slab )

First is an Olympic job. Supply and demand and all that. The second is a short let, so would expect it to go at probably 20-40% of that price on a normal let.
