Cleaning a white leather sofa
Discussion
We have a couple of white leather sofas that are now 9 years old and showing some signs of wear and tear.
They are very high quality sofas with high grade leather and fully removable cushions so I have decided to take them apart and have the cushions re stuffed, whilst they are away I want to clean up the rest of the sofa. What's the best method to do this as there seems to be so much conflicting advice from the web and also from local leather care companies!
There are some patches of wear that have removed some of the dye is it worth looking at some kind of car style smart repair for these areas or will this be a waste of time?
As ever thanks for the help!

1- baby wipes. they will bring it up like new and won't harm the leather

I've no idea what's in them, but what ever it is, its good!
I have a similar problem. We have an off-white/cream leather sofa in the conservatory and it's looking a little grubby although the cushions and frame are still fine. I tried some leather cleaning cream and although it improved it a little it didn't work as well as I'd hoped.
Has anybody had an expert in to clean a leather sofa/suite and if so how much did they charge ?
