Not sure if photographs taken by myself and printed to canvas strictly counts as art...

Currently have these 3 hanging in my 'office' in our new house:

Thinking about getting these 2 printed for one of the bathrooms too:

Absolutely stunning pictures!

Definitely art in my opinion smile

Meaning, you created these yourself?

Either way, very nice indeed.

Guys, I'm interested how you're getting on with your Afremov? I'll be honest, I often find myself just looking at it, with a strong beverage in hand.

Especially over the last year or so, it cheers me up with its vibrancy.

This has been cropped slightly, as it's still on bare canvas. I bought it this way, as I wanted a good look before I decided on a frame.

I have so much art around the house that it is slightly embarrassing.

(Sorry about the mess in some of the pics)

It's some hand-painted art in the style of Gil Elvgren that I bought at an Antiques fair. It's oil (or maybe acrylic) on plywood, and I don't know who painted it I'm afraid.

I made a blog post about it, and the background to it, a while back. I will IM you a link.

Edit:

When you compare it to the original, you can see that it is not entirely faithful. smile

Here's a few more, if anyone is interested.

Again, apologies for the mess and the lack of dusting. And for spamming the thread.
