Art on your walls...
Discussion
After some ideas for framing 17 pieces that are A5(ISH) size they are all originals (not expensive yet maybe)
They are basically pages from a Korean day calender with a design done over the top.
I was thinking maybe mounted in one frame in one line but the wall is only 2.5m and each picture is 122mm so 2.074m without any mount or frame
Could do them all individually and put them on a picture shelf
Any other ideas?

I bought a series of graffitied Argentinian bank notes from when they were going through hyper inflation way back when.
I liked the idea of a 3d effect so I used a deep frame, then mounted the note on a block which was in turn mounted on to a traditional back board. So the banknote stood proud/floated in the frame behind the glass.
More interesting than a simple framing. Might work on something at A5 size ??
ETA: If you're into the Maxi aesthetic, an alternative might be to paint the wall a dark colour and use it as the back board then fix a frame directly to the wall around the piece? Would work well if the pages are white??? Something like this (works well with ornate picture frames):

Where do you guys buy art? Struggling to find good stuff online.
Don't look online, a screen can't have the impact of seeing something in real life. And there's a lot of tat online, as you're discovering.
Find a tourist town nearby and look in some galleries, then take note of artists or styles you like and look for more in that style or by that artist. Go online to find out where the artists you like exhibit and sell their work and whether they sell prints which are a far cheaper way to start than originals.
Also go to shows and exhibitions if there are any nearby - we're speaking to an artist we met last month at the Wensleydale agricultural show.
