Loads of Scottish scenes and landscapes and a few cars thrown in.
I also have some photos by myself on the walls.

All done by the same artist. (a mate of mine).

One of my photos I have framed

Both dogs photos in my down stairs loo as canvases.

Will definitely have some more in the future as we love her work.

(Its not very easy to see, but all of the items in the picture are in 3d relief and then covered with a thin resin. This is 1/100 and each one is unique as she puts the items in different places on each one).
You lucky lucky bd. Lady B and I love her work. I just can't justify spending £1K on a piece of her work.

Where is everyone buying from? Can anyone recommend an online gallery?

Ive got this on my kitchen wall, its a local Sheffield artist called Pete Mckee. He paints mostly iconic images relating to him growing up in Sheffield (around the same time as myself).

This one is called '2p bus rid to town'. I bought it as I can recall as a kid catching the bus into town with my mother and sister, with myself standing at the very front up on the top deck of the bus whilst pretending to drive it, occassionally glancing down the little window to the driver below and getting the fright of my life to see him staring back up at me!! My mum would let me pay the driver for the tickets, which meant asking for 'a nine and two halves', strange really as whilst my mums ticket would cost 9p, a childs ticket only cost 2p...

Maybe checkout http://www.kealeyfarmer.com/ - I purchased one of her originals earlier in the year. Similar style and think her pricing will go the same way as Kerry Darlington

http://www.evergreenartcafe.co.uk/

Recommended to me by another PHer. Service is great, the gallery/cafe is great to browse (good scotch eggs as well).

I know that a couple of other PHer's have brought from Simon in the past as well.

It turned out that one of the mates i had been enjoying a few too many beers with after football, had a fondness for doing paintings and drawings. I never believed him and had been enjoying ribbing him about his favored past time, since he would be your stereotypical brick layer type of chap.

Later that evening/morning back at his house he showed me some of the work he had done, which wasnt bad.

£20 lighter in my wallet this now hangs above my fireplace and the other half still doesnt like it.

Got this Tim Layzell print for Christmas, got it framed and up on the wall today, absolutely love it! Would like another at some point, but that's my second automotive print and I doubt the girlfriend will allow anymore!

Would love a Tim Layzell print and that one in particular. I've settled for a Guy Allen print for the time being and I'm really pleased with the result.

ETA afraid I don't know how to rotate the photo!

That is very spooky. We were just in town & stopped for a gander in a local gallery & there were two Kerry Darlingtons in the window. We were struck with how vibrant they were. Also struck by the price but that's another story.
We were on holiday in Cornwall this year and walked by a gallery in Falmouth, where this and a few others were on display in the window. Completely stopped us in our tracks.

We had a hard time picking between this and another called 'The Pirate Ship', but felt this was overall a nicer thing.

They certainly arent cheap, but considering the original paintings sell for about £40k, I dont think its exorbitant for a 1/95 limited run print either.

We also have a nice personalised message and autograph from Kerry to go with it.
Some of Kerry's work goes for £40K+
But...
The original Tree of Life's and Peacock Splendour's ( see below ) - could be had for about £1000-1200 about 4 years ago. ( depending on size - smaller pieces maybe £750 )
The originals of those now probably change hands from between £3-5K.
I'm lucky enough to have 3 of them. (below )
I enjoy looking at them - and up till now they have been a good investment. No plans in selling though.

A limited edition print ( still in 3D ) is probably £1000-1200 now.
Will need to check in with my local gallery to find out.

Troubleatmill - really liking those pieces, especially the Peacock Splendour's - my now wife and I had one of our first dates at the Larmer Tree festival in Dorset surrounded by peacocks and then they featured at our wedding (unfortunately this time stuffed!) so they've remained special to us.

There are some really nice pieces on here. We have about 30 artists represented on our walls, pretty much all NZ stuff, but most of the spare space is taken up with paintings I have done over the past 10 years. I work in oils and enjoy dabbling in a couple of styles. Some sell, some don't...

I knew re-visiting this thread would be dangerous... ordered a couple of bits at the weekend, both originals (one Kealey Farmer and the other from James Patterson)

Got quite a bit of art in the house but no pictures to hand where I am of those. However, I do have some Tim Layzell stuff in one of the garages.
