Arts a funny thing as it's very personal and hard to point people to what they may like.

But if you like that sort of stuff and dony want to spend a lot then Etsy isnt a bad shout as a lot of it is actually just mass produced Or maybe IKEA you could get the stacked stones or the times square taxi prints they did wink

But personally I'm a fan of multiple pieces opposed just one large piece they can look awkward on their own

I like the scatter wall approach. Acquire stuff as you find things that bring you joy.

Probably not everyone's taste, but that's what art is about isn't it? But a new one we recently bought from a local artist for our landing... have a few of his pieces

Yeah, likewise, it's a pretty dynamic looking piece.

Looking for some inspiration after redecorating & new staircase install. What would you do with this space ? It’s just over 3m from newel post to the corner. Neither my wife nor I have a particular “eye” for art or interior decoration but we both want to fill this gap with something ! We’re not looking to spend ‘000s on a bespoke art feature so a simple print is fine……or …. What ?

I thought a large rectangular artwork or even a reasonably big triptych might be nice. It needs to add some colour or contrast to the oak and wall colour doesn’t it ?

Thoughts (with links to options if you think something appropriate). Over to the fashionistas of PH !

If you look a couple of posts up you can see what we did in a similar space... smile

Great thanks. The link didn’t work for some reason but went and had a look online. Really like some of the abstracts so have followed on Facebook for anything coming down the line as everything sold !

Not my wall, but I did this recently for a friends garden space - some spray paint and a couple hours / beers later:

I really like this
If I had suitable outside space I'd like some art in this style
Thank you very much! That peacock was more flowing / expressive, I recently did this for the interior of a joinery workshop which was a bit more specific:

Nice to experiment in different spaces / textures.

Similar space - we put a row of pics from a local photographer depicting variations on a theme along our hallway - in our case they’re all pics of a place that we like. Ironically rubnish pic of the layout…

All five pics are 520x400 framed, wall is about 5.5m inc doorway.

All pics from this dude…

…and they deliver worldwide. We’ve also have a 900x1250 of his in the lounge.

Hi folks,
Apologies if this has been covered before.
We have a limited edition Doug Hyde print from 2004 that we want rid of.
I know there’s a Facebook selling page for Doug Hyde, but I’m instantly cautious about using social media for anything these days, where else can a chap sell art?

Back to the gallery you originally bought it from, or any other gallery that specialises in Doug Hyde?

Recently picked up this 1960’s oil painting of Tenby, 60’s/70’s stuff has really grown on me lately!

Another recent acquisition for my study, oil on board. Not quite Van Gogh but I like it!
