look guys, i know you're trying to take the piss out of the OP, but this happened to me 2 years ago when i was in uni halls of residence. The washing machine broke on me (i overloaded it) so my washing was locked in the machine for 3 days with vanish powder.

I was given the tip when i went to my local dry cleaners to sort it all out. It worked really well! smile

Sometimes these things do happen.

Remember OP- Dont feed the troll

It's been a long time since I've cried with laughter at a thread on PH. Brilliant.

yes

The OP has got a couple of useful answers and we've all had fun.

Pretty much the perfect thread so far.

Boiling water only reduces the air (note, air, not just oxygen) in the water if the boiling container is sealed when the water boils so it pulls a partial vacuum as it cools.

If you are going to try to be clever, at least get it right!

No need to bother with all that boiling malarkey....just try a liberal application of dihydrogen monoxide, that should sort it. Just be careful,as it's used in a lot of industrial solvents, and inhaling too much can be risky.
You should be able to get it at most chemists.HTH

My God! He is! You simply could not make it up.

What next? "I've noticed if I hold my breath I feel odd, is this normal?"

Someone mentioned vanish earlier in the thread. The solution would be to rub Vanish onto the Persil and then see what happens? Be careful with dihydrogen monoxide though...

I was cleaning up last night and managed to get some soap all over my hands. It was a fking nightmare, couldn't figure out how to get rid of the stuff.

Good thing I had my lint brush handy.
