What do they use on hospital floors? Looks like fake marble pattern, but without the shiny surface.

We were involved with a few hospital refurbs a while ago, and the flooring used there was Altro.

Foam though - ok for parking your car on but no use for point loads.

I have those foam tiles in home gym and they are fine for light traffic and protecting the floor underneath...but I wouldn't use them in a garage. I don't think they would wear well with a car going and out...also any spills will be absorbed

thinner plastic tiles are what are commonly used in garages, like Dynotile or Mototile

You can use "cow mat" that they put onto concrete in cow parlours & horse stables its great for point loads eg jacking up, soft ish, bloody cheap but gets out of shape when its warm. Just make sure you fix it knobbly side down or it kills your knees in shorts!

In all seriousness it wasn't that expensive, the tiles were £13 per sq M.

Got the Dura cabinets coming soon

its laid using a epoxy or polyurethane resin depending on the uv stability required mixed with a small aggregate at a depth of around 12mm. Colours are limitless so is design. it is a seamless hard wearing surface tougher than concrete. prices would start at £50m2 but would vary depending on design and colours used
