Once established, aside from a little pruning and weeding it needs no maintenance or watering, and provides something of interest all year round.

I was not suggesting it's not lovely as it is!
I just think when more people cotton on to what great proportions houses of this age have (look at your drive and front yard let alone interior dimensions compared to a new estate) updating places like this will be the new thing.
All in my non developer opinion.
