Great location and outside space but I would get such a headache with that interior! How much is this likely to go for?

I'd be very happy with Hugh's seconds.

Wonder if the hot tub was there when he was the incumbent? If so there'd be some stories to tell I'd wager.

On the Knight a Frank website it's listed above a flat at £ 7.45 million so that's an indication, oh to be in that market.

Really nice, but waaay too much stuff to polish (I realise you would have a lady in to do that, but still - it would be a full time job)

And why do people insist on having 3,000 pillows on a bed, utterly stupid

This caught my eye at the weekend while looking for a new pad, unfortunately way out of budget

North African bling.

Dar Olfa estate, Marrakech, Morocco. €65m - http://www.christiesrealestate.com/eng/sales/detai...

"Dar Olfa, one of the largest and most exclusive estates in Morocco, situated in Marrakech, in almost 10 hectares of private land, and boasts more than 100,000 sq ft of living space and multiple swimming pools.

The main six-bedroom house at Dar Olfa is beautifully and ornately furnished with large, interconnected rooms. There is a drawing room and dining room which seats more than 20 guests as well as a three-storey library, a home theatre and a private nightclub with its own separate entrance from the 15-car underground garage.

Within the 10 hectares of private land, there is a selection of open lounge areas, an additional 85ft outdoor pool, a flood-lit tennis court, a fitness room and a fully equipped spa with hammam, sauna and an indoor swimming pool. Each bedroom suite has an individual private garden and the grounds spectacular featuring gardens, a private waterfall and a lake. Additionally, a self-contained guest villa has six more en suite bedrooms and an 85ft outdoor pool."

That really is quite horrific - it looks like a semi-converted boathouse. No style or flair, and you really couldn't design a less 'homely' and welcoming interior if you tried. 'Cold' is not a strong enough adjective for that.

Just as well we all don't like the same things though - would make the housing market somewhat horrific! smile

Indeed - love the municipal looking chain link fencing visible from the bathroom. That and the god awful artwork - I know you're not buying the artwork but what do people see in grotesque paintings of the human form?

same old st interior design puked up by pathetic "designers" No class at all. All these houses seem to be furnished in the same way, Chrome balls, grey and silver furnishings . Pretentious art work etc .
No imagination at all .

think i'd rather have a well-sorted riad in the old town hidden behind an anonymous door, like everyone else.

Council fencing aside I think it looks fantastic from the outside and the location is spectacular. If I was a Bond villain I'd make some enquiries. I agree the interior is awful, ugly and bordering on unlivable, but that's quite easily sorted and nothing that'd deter me!

And they are the rooms shown, I imagine the others are in a worse state.
I want to see the dilapidated out buildings, can imagine they will be impressive still.
