Why would you choose to build it there though?!
Cool house, but I can't help thinking it's out of the price range of everything around it. There's a ceiling for the area, surely?

I like that, ok it's not the most attractive design from the outside but I like large windows which are hard to incorporate into a traditional design.

I don't know? It's not as if the terraced row of Victorian two-up/two-downs have much going for them architecturally so nothing to mirror or complement there. And I don't believe a modern building needs to reflect an older building unless it is of particular merit or the scene is sensitive to the new development. This is just a row of old crumbling houses backing onto a cemetery. As it happens it's not to my personal taste but I wouldn't decry the architect or builder for putting it there.

p.s. I see the lower bedroom is currently being used as an office for three people, looks like they run a business from the house.

Oh, my - yes! Coronado's a lovely area.
Close to Tijuana if you're brave for some of the *ahem* local entertainment.

Because I love the area, and skiing...

I'm currently sitting about 1 mile from that house.

The area is not bad, certainly £250,000 isn't an unreasonable price for that kind of house in that area.
Its only 5 mins into the city and 15 mins the other direction you are in the Peaks.

That is awesome, and compared to European resorts, so cheap!
