It's a monster at 32000 sqft. First floor layout looks a bit chaotic, though. Just need to get rid of the stables for more garaging.

Would probably cost a few million to build?

It's listed, in an AONB, has no pp for conversion and you have to appoint an architect to sketch conversion plans to submit with your offer. If you have time and cash aplenty, by all means have a go, otherwise there must be tons of rural cottages/farmhouses that would be less of a headache.

I like that a lot, it's not much over budget as what we are in the process of buying in London at the moment, a hell of a lot bigger, and Bedford gets me to Farringdon (and thus very close to work) in 40 minutes.

And Lady F insisted we stay in South London.

Same here , very odd layout. From the outside just looks like a lot of sheds bolted together. I'd pass for that sort of money

Driven by this every day for a few years and you can barely see the house down its private gated road with all the weeds/small trees or plants growing through the driveway

Its Huge, and looks like a project to renovate it ran out of money, bathrooms look like they are missing taps.
