That Formby place has been on here before.
My wife is from Formby, no jokes thank you, and it's possibly worth £2.5mil but that's about it.

I helped a mate of mine out with a house move for a well-known footballer into a Formby property. I was staggered at the cost of it for what seemed a distinctly average newish build on a very modest plot. The only justification I could see was that it was nicely private in terms of the garden and accessing the plot - but I cannot help but think the residents must be laughing their heads off at the footballer premium that has now taken shape in the area.

Lovely but very near a busy main road and the sugar factory is about 2 miles away so it will stick when the wind blows in the wrong direction.
