That is such a fking massive place at >18,000sq. ft., any "normal" family would be rattling around in there!
They would be.Mind you it's not going to be sold to a "Normal" family realistically.
I was looking at houses at the weekend, two I saw were new builds of 8500 sq.ft and I must say the way they were laid out left me feeling lost.
There were rooms I'd never use so twice that would be overwhelming.

I am guess the McLaren comes with it given the house is empty other then the "fixtures and fittings"http://www.rightmove.co.uk/new-homes-for-sale/prop...
And the house too.

that's going to include the garaging and the gym/swimming pool etc though isn't it? Whats the actual 'living' area' likely to be, less than half that?Still, big, empty, cold, unappealing. All you need is some bid walking around in click-click clack-clack high heels to drive you mental.
I desperately want to sneer at that Wentworth House and call it vulgar and bland etc.
However, I think that is pretty much my dream house. I love it.
It needs some nice antique furniture, more tradition redecoration (I assume it is neutral as a canvas).
I assume at that price it is well made and it has a decent plot in a lovely area).
Outside, it just needs a few years of weathering and some nice flowers.
A lot of the 18k sq ft is the spa bit and servants quarters.
I would also have ground floor kitchen removed (keeping staff kitchen below) as it seems odd in a house like that.
I obviously have no taste!

Lovely area? No I don't think so. Lots of high end houses, all with high walls and fences, imposing gates. 90% of your neighbors aren't at home, as they have multiple homes around the world. Many places owned by foreign companies. No I think its a lonely place, no neighbourhood feeling. However, I think that is pretty much my dream house. I love it.

3.5 acres is a great sized plot as well.

the rest of the house reeks of russian, but i kind of like the utter "fk off" ness about the car in the pool room!!

Odd to utterly empty the house, yet leave a car behind
Obviously just put the car there to show what it was for.I have much larger ones around my pool where I keep gold bullion as I like the way the light reflects off it.
I am liking this place this week! No idea on the flood resistance but it looks a cool place.
