£6.5k to you squire. It's a bit ... Lilliputian though smile

Why are the owners using an estate agent to sell a play house?

i presume they are meaning it can be moved. It is essentially a thatched wendy house.

Twee internally, but this has promise.

32 acres, barn would make a nice garage, holiday cottage for chums, nice little lake.

For less than a 3 bed terrace round these parts.

Doesn't surprise me, I grew up in Ealing and my brother still lives there. Son lived in Wandsworth but had to move out to Hitchin in order to be able to afford anything...

You lot are lucky.

How about a grotty Granny cottage and a shack. The location isn't great either.

£725,000 and under offer.

Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen of Changing Rooms fame is on the move. Ghastly interiors but at least he practices what he preaches:

A stones throw from my house I would be interested in opinions on this:

Personally I love it and could spend the rest of my life there.

I think that is good value for money considering how well the house is finished and the size of the rooms.

Agreed. Its nice and wide. Looks very nicely done as well.
£648/sqft isnt bad at all (relatively).
I am sure we will all be laughing at these stupid prices one day though.

I like that (other than the gay liberation stairs).

Still Mental London money though. That would probably be around £300K in one of the nice suburbs in Cardiff

I love the setting and it would make a great party house for a weekend away with a big group of mates but I wouldn't want to live there. Too cold and minimalist for me.

It's right at the end of the road though so very close to the main railway line. Hence the price I suppose. Notice how they chopped the residence parking sign out of the picture

i'm not big on modernist minimal but that's about as close to something i'd want of that ilk! That lounge area... how many people could sit on that sofa??

They are very well built. We live in one, extended to 5 beds. The point was as a comparison to the 32 acres in Devon. I am nowhere near it yet, but am starting to see why people move out of town.

The extension is like a piece of art or sculpture- great for parties etc. Most of the time you could live in original cottage.

The glass screens are the cleanest design I have seen.

Its good for the Cheese Rolling.

The location is a bit "rapey" and it fails the pub walk test.
