great cycling around there too!
As a local, I agree on all of that. I could live with the decor.

I'd rather spend the asking price of the Colorado house on this, than the asking price of this on the Colorado house...!

Wow that stone work is just unbelievable. How the hell have they managed that?

Stunning view from the pool too.

Aye, we've had him a few pages ago.
Think someone mentioned it is being sold by a hotel firm who wanted to set one up on there.
Seems hideously expensive to me, considering the modest size and cost to sort.
Though that doesn't prevent the idea appealing...

I wouldn't spend that much money to live on that road.

Mind you, I wouldn't spend any money to live on that road.

There are more bathrooms than bedrooms in the house (9 to 5 ratio), One wonders what was the original brief? hehe

4 full bedroom suites each with his and hers bathrooms plus one.

Or someone with a very weak bladder and no hold control.

Ruinous but I love the idea of this as a bolt hole.

We have 11 loos in a 7 bed house.
4 ensuite bathrooms, 3 downstairs loos, one shared bathroom, one bathroom in the nanny flat, two in the pool house (one in each changing room).
It was 12 but we got rid of the gardener's loo.

Would love to see the layout sometime (plans), but of course it is too private. Asking from the professional curiosity as being architect/designer.

It was never designed that way - it is a very old house that has grown over time. Bits are Tudor, the main façade is Georgian, it has Victorian and Edwardian additions and a 50's/60's extension (which we remodelled in 2008).

The pool house is separate - it is an octagonal building.

I really like that. It needn't be too ruinous, as long as you don't try to remodel it too much. A few tens of thousands making it into a holiday home pretty much as-is would be a fantastic option I reckon.

Truly amazing. They certainly know how to build property in Colorado. Now, where did I put that Euromillions ticket.

Wouldn't that be rather loud when the clock strikes?

From the airbnb comments

"Great position, if noisy. You can hear the trains at St Pancras"
