It has been photographed cleverly, the front of the house is very close to the road on the main street through a village which is used by a lot of cars and trucks getting from Beverley to the M62, also it is almost directly opposite 2 pubs and the village shop, vehicle access must be a nightmare.

google street maps shows a 10 foot brick wall blocking off the street, and a nice driveway hidden behind it, but as I said I don't know the area, looks very nice to me

Really? Constant traffic noise past your front door, not really walkable to any shops, decent pubs or restaurants. Your only neighbours are an hotel, a hospital and an office. I agree there are some nice places on that road, but I reckon you've picked just about the worst

You're set so far back you wouldn't hear anything surely?
Just with my work I need to be round this neck of the woods and never seen anything like that close to amenities. Put it in Warwick and it'd be £5m :'(

I just think you'd be a lot better off closer to town with less land (1.6 acres isn't so much that you'd miss it).
