Haha, I missed the laundr-office the first time.

It is also (IMO) hugely overpriced for the area and for what it is.

You're right. There's no one near Barrow with £800k to spend on a house that st.
(I mean, it's better than mine, but in the context of £800k in Cumbria, it's st)

I tyhink it's only two colours, but the lighting's so sparse that it creates shadows and makes the blue look grey.

Looks like a laundry room. they are for the iron/irons. Quite handy actually.

Or the layout changed after the lastering etc was done.

There is something not quite right with that window as well.

It almost looks like it has had some ply put up and then tiled over, covering the bottom half of the window.

I think the windows are just not very tall and you can't see the ledge running along the top of the tiles.

Strange room to have your office though confused

I think the house is set into the side of a hill (the floorplans say lower ground floor and ground floor) so the utility office is a sort of semi-basement affair, hence the high windows.

That's done so you don't get views of the sex bath when doing the washing up.

Four plates, maybe eight outlets. Maybe they get their ironing done by some four armed Indian goddess.

why would someone decide it was a good idea to have a combined utility room and office? sorry about the unbelievable background noise everyone the washing machine is 3 feet away on spin cycle... i'll just go on mute - don't ask me any questions as i can't hear a thing.

Perhaps they run a specialist nocturnal webcam site.

Amazingly, they managed to completely avoid all of the traditional colour schemes of period property.

My eyes hurt after seeing the neon kitchen chairs with matching splash backs.
