I bet the fire officer would be delighted to see the location of that wood burner.
Who the hell signed that off?

You could always move the curtain wink
And not close the other one?

Both are too close.

This is a couple of mins down the road from me. It's been up for sale for over 2 years.

The views are stunning and it even seems to come with its own botanical garden in the hallway.

An unusual contrast between the fabric of the building and the internal decor (he says, politely smile )

Have we had Aylesby Hall from my neck of the woods yet?

Relatively tasteful, 12 acres, walled garden, tennis court. Looks a lovely place.
Very nice, but as expensive as that kitchen undoubtedly is, it jars with the rest of the property IMO.
And why the hell do they need 5 ovens?!!!!

One on the left looks like a coffee machine. Others being a steam oven, combination microwave oven and 2 single ovens. Most likely.

I agree but the interior looks really bad! Loose the foliage for the photos!

May I suggest you consider moving to house nearer to the lake. Or preferably in it /BasilFawlty

Now THAT is lovely
That place has been burgled more times than I have had hot dinners.
Get yourself a gun and a few 'intruders will be shot on sight' signs and you'll be alright.
Put Tony Martin in the staff accommodation, shirley?
Last owner unfortunately hanged himself there
Does that sort of thing affect the value or are most people not bothered.

It's got that 'chav' modern look I can't stand, like the sort of crap you find in B&M.

I'm not normally a fan of having a bar in a house, infact this one has two (!), but the bierkeller does looks quite cool, I could well imagine having a good session sat around the table on image 15 (though clearly for the full authentic experience you'd need a live-in buxom serving wench....):

The right house wouldn't bother me, but I'm sure some people (and probably especially women) would be put off.

If it was in the lounge it might bother me but it was in the garage, so not fussed.

I wouldn't fancy tinkering with my cars knowing there's been a dead body swinging from the rafters.

Seems alot of house for the money and on the whole I like it. Must be party people as it seems set up for entertaining.

My friend got a great deal on his first house as the previous owner hanged himself in the garage. The house got such a stigma that the executor's had a heck of a time shifting it until they dropped the price way below average for the area.

Didn't bother my mate in the least living there, despite the mad bint next door who used to "remind" visitors about the previous owner's sad demise.

She stopped when my mate came out of the garage one day as I'd turned up and she was bending my ear about it - he said "look what I found in the garage roof!" and threw a length of rope at her - exit mad bint screaming, never to mention the death again smile

Saw this in the estate agents window yesterday near me. They're happy to list £2m properties but this has a POA suggesting it could be slightly out of the reach of your average 3 bed semi purchaser. Nice location and plenty of space although the interior is a bit premier league footballer for my tastes.
