What electric heater for my garage?

Hi

I've got a pretty bog standard size garage with a gable style roof so quite airy inside. I'm looking for a electric heater in there but I don't know whether to go for a blow heater or a non blow ceramic style. Anyone else got experience of garage heaters?

if its got a fan it heats up quicker - more useful for ad-hoc usage

non fan, relying on convection or direct heat is more suited to being left on all the time

Ive just got a 3kw fan heater in my large single garage. It soon picks up the temp from say 7deg to 12-15 deg at this time of year. Within 30 mins im switching it off because im getting too warm in there. Think it was £40 from screwfix
