Concrete base for shed....how to...
Discussion
I expanded my shed base year before last and did it myself after some comedy quotes from landscape gardeners.
Cannot remember the finer details of quantities and mixes, but the main thing I learnt which would have tripped me up left to my own devices was how quickly it goes off. I had it in my mind to mix and fill up the shuttering and go back and level off at the end. Of course this wouldnt have worked due to to the length of time to fill using relatively small individual loads from a mixer. So start at one end and fill it up to the top of the shuttering and start to level off as you go along.
Mine did have to be quite thick, but obvious when you know.
