Fantastic! The award for best garage on PH goes too _Leg_
Thanks for all the comments. Really appreciate them, especially from fellow PHers. Not sure it's the best though. Have you read the very lengthy "Who has the best garage on PH" thread? Some absolute beauties on there with collections that leave my cars in the shade.
Its been a stressful, very tiring process buying the land, getting planning and managing the build but worth it.
Had a nice bonus this month as my readers road trip was published in Evo after Henry Catchpole saw my posts on PH about it and then I bumped into him at the FoS on Friday. Is Henry the nicest guy in petrol land? Quite possibly. Wolverine's younger, slimmer brother? Definitely.
It says a lot that I've been more interested in the build and the fixtures and fittings than I have been with the contents of the garage itself which, on a normal day, would be a pretty big draw for most petrol heads.
Really think the end result looks fantastic - you must be thrilled with it!

I'm so glad I bookmarked this. It's been a real pleasure watching your updates, a wonderful project which has given me some ideas for my own smaller build in future and something to aspire too.
Exactly what he said... I would probably never spend any time in the main house though much to the great annoyance of my other half.. or perhaps not... Congrats!Gassing Station | Homes, Gardens and DIY | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
