Kitchen/bathroom paint
Discussion
Hi,
I'm having my house completely renovated, and will be looking into painting in the next few weeks.
I've chosen the colours for all the walls, but can't decide what type of paint to use on the kitchen and bathroom ceilings...
I'd like a hard wearing paint, if any sort of mould was to form over time.
Any recommendations?

Bathroom and kitchen paint is just vinyl silk marketed under a different name with the price altered accordingly.
If you like a silk finish then go with that. Personally, I can't stand the stuff.
Dulux trade matt all the way for me.
Mould will form because of inadequate ventilation. Install suitable extraction.

This is good stuff - use it in my own house, and also the Intelligent matt.http://www.littlegreene.com/paint/finish/intellige...
Customers are usually happy with Dulux but I'll always recommend the Diamond Matt for walls of high traffic areas.
Ceilings - dead flat emulsion on mine.

This is ideal for bathrooms, suitable for high moisture and mould resistant.I'm having my house completely renovated, and will be looking into painting in the next few weeks.

For kitchens, as others have suggested Dulux Diamond Matt is good.
The Zinsser Perma White would also be suitable, but it isnt as Matt, hence preferring the Dulux.
