Anyone know of a light switch timer?
Discussion
Standard two gang light switch in the hall, one does the outside porch lights and the other a feature bulb in our hall alcove.
What would be handy would be to program them to come on at dusk until say 11pm and then on at 7 in the morning for an hour, plus be able to manually switch them on whenever needed.
I've had a look at the usual places and I can't seem to find anything that does exactly what I'm after, anyone here done anything similar?

This was mentioned in a recent thread:

Yeah two gang if possible, if there isn't anything I guess my only choice is to wire them both to one switch.
This is the only option I've found so far MrBig;

It's a pretty basic set up and a bit ugly but does work. Unfortunately it's quite loud when it activates as it's just two motors that push wheels against the light switches and run off four AA batteries. A bit Heath Robinson but does work!

Have a look at Clas Ohlson Nexa range. They have some remote sensor stuff which works with existing installations for some home automation. They have a dusk/dawn sensor which also has a timed function.
We have a movement sensor which turns on the existing external welcome lights and works great.

Thanks, but I need to retain easy manual override function too. Don't really fancy having that in the hall either. I think this is now a moot point anyway as the missus has bought an LED light for the hallway which I installed yesterday. It comes with a remote control as well, but for some reason it doesn't switch on and off on the light switch anyway. Have to cycle the switch 4 or 5 times just to get the light on. Not happy.This is the only option I've found so far MrBig;
