Look at that price range in mid or North Wales - heck even £300k less - you get vast houses and acres of land and stunning landscape.

V a tiny pad horrible frontage rear garden none existent and previous owner who has literally not decorated in multiple decades.

Sorry, but that's a long way from Walthamstow village. Which incidentally is now impossible to drive round; mini-Holland scheme in place.

Subject property is nice enough, but surrounded by ste.

That is mental. London prices really are in a different world.
What a joke.

For not much more near Manchester you could have something like this.

Apart from picture's 1 and 4, I quite like that!

If the OP house was local to me, and, at a local price, I'd be all over it!

Those posts related to 2 different properties. The run down one being 'Village' location. If the OP one was situated there, it would be at least another 50% more expensive! biggrin

I've seen that before.

I'd buy it, and ask for all the contents of the garages to be chucked in!

You wouldn't want to live in Bacup. Even the alsations walk round in pairs wink

T'other end of the valley (Helmshore) is more the PH type of place.

There isn't much point in saying how crazy London house prices are and using this as a an example as it hasn't sold.

You might as well put it on the market at £10 million and say London house prices are mental.

The reality is that this is another example of delusion.

I cannot imagine why anyone would want to live in London, living in a horrible, pokey old terrace house for over 800,000.

I will take the 5 bed barn with stables, 5 acres, garages, workshop and river in Wales thank you.

I could double my salary if I moved to London, by the quality of my life would reduce massively!

I prefer city life, if I won the Euro lottery, I would buy a place in London for sure!
