Finally got my EasiLife 250 up and running. It’s noisier than I thought it would be. It makes a metallic grinding noise as it’s cutting. Is that normal please? I was expecting it to be quieter to be honest.
I do not have the same model but my mower It sounds like yours may need to be adjusted.

Presumably being the States you can sue them, sue their parents, sue the company that made the bin lorry, sue the mower maker for not making it bin lorry proof, and probably sue your neighbours for not stopping them take it?
I am meeting with the owner of the garbage company on Monday. I hope to resolve this amicably but fear that will not be the case. From the first call in to the company they told us there was no chance without video. When I told him I had the mower back he was stunned as that is all the evidence we need. I think the original operator is going to be in trouble for sharing the dump location but he was just trying to help me out. I had naively thought there was a chance of repair and would have done that myself. I am not going to put up a huge fight as I will hand it over to my insurance company if the owner doesn't play ball. They may chose to have their day in court but I will leave it to them.
I have to say again the people at the dump were incredible. They had all people and machinery hunting for the mower and it was one of the workers that found him.

I’ve taken all three blades off. Tested it and with none of them on it’s almost silent going around the garden. As soon as I put one on (any of the three) it’s rattling like a broken blender. I’ve adjusted the blades up to the highest setting and it’s less noisy like that - but also seems to not be cutting the grass much at all.
Something isn’t right with it.

Sounds like it is not balanced. Make sure the blades move freely, they should be loose on the fixing screws.Something isn’t right with it.
Installed the Landroid M500 on Thursday and it had been out daily since then. Wire laid out and it was more tiring than I imagined for a 120m perimeter.
It got stuck twice in particular spot where the gradient meets a corner. Will have to put a little quarter brick in that spot.
60mm cut height, so far so good.

Mine lost one of the blades at some point, made one hell of a racket being unbalanced by only having 2 blades on, I thought it had lunched a bearing...Stephen-733s2 said:

Unless it is essentially the first cut and the grass is a bit long it never looks like it cuts anything off. I've watched mine for ages and it just looks like it's doing nothing but then I notice the edges of the lawn are 2 inches higher!Right, have now read this thread from the start!
No mention so far of the Flymo Easylife Go. Seems to be a mildly updated version of the Easilife but with a simpler control panel and more reliance on the bluetooth app. Has an easier to access USB port and no wheel guards.
I originally got the Easylife Go 500 from Amazon but then cancelled the order and reordered the Easylife Go 250. Both were available with a 10% discount so the 250 was around £450. May come down on Prime Day!
I've laid the wires which took a little more planning and reading of the instruction manual than I was expecting. Also made a gap in the raised flower bed to site the charging dock. "Mo" seems happy to buzz around and head back to his house when he has finished.
Minor annoyance, the low voltage cable from the transformer is only 3m so I needed to order a 10m cable at a whopping £29.99. Haven't got the house as £100 seems like a rip-off for a plastic dome.
Also the dog has a massive barking fit every time he sees it which is geting a tad annoying. Hopefully the mutt will get used to it.

We have a reasonably small lawn (65 sq. m) which is relatively flat and square.
Looking at taking a gamble on a robot mower. Thinking of either a Flymo Easilife 250 or the Worx Landroid S300.
Are there any others around that price point (or less!) (~£500) which I should be considering?
Any help would be great! Thanks.

See if you can find the Flymo 1200R. It's an older model but does everything you need and nothing you don't. I've got one and only got around to fitting it this year and its great.Any help would be great! Thanks.
