I need to rout a groove into some MDF so it looks like it has an opening door in it.

I could use a normal 1/4" straight bit but it would nicer if I could cut a V groove with rounded edges (so it looks like two rounded edges places end to end).

Is it possible to get a V-shaped bit with concave cutters? I can't seem to find one.

Google 'needle nose router bit' and click images. Most are from Aliexpress or really expensive CNC suppliers. I'm sure I remember seeing some in the Axminster catalogue a few years back but I've just had a look and no joy.

I'm not sure how far away you are but Ipswich Plastics have loads.

Ha, bingo, there they are! I looked at Axminster but they had very few.
