Does anyone have any experience with these - looking for one 4m wide with a 3m projection, all in Anthracite RAL. Google throws up a million hits and seems a lot of double-glazing style 40%off sale type chat. Want quality rather than cheap. Also need it in 7 days.

Thanks in advance for any info.

I was looking into getting one, may still do and this place seemed to be pretty decent Primrose awnings I know what you mean about the big national companies, 'Call today and we'll send someone around to pull your trousers down'mad

JK

My best experience has been with LeRoy Merlin, yes you have to go to France, but there is a Calais store.

You are looking for 'Store Banne'

All colours, sizes & quality.

If money is no object, then http://www.jamesrobertshaw.co.uk/, but I doubt you'll get something in 7 days.

I've also used http://dealdirectblinds.co.uk/ before.

Thanks for the replies so far, some good links to check out on Monday. It's going into the gable end wall of our extension which is concrete block with timber frame kit behind.

I looked last year into getting an awning fitted over my patio but I wanted it to withstand being left out in the rain so I could still sit outside if it rained in the summer, and found most needed retracting if it rained.

I wanted something like this...

Ah, yeah - the only reason I want it is so that if it rains I can use the patio. If I was getting it for sun only purposes it won't see much use in the west of Scotland...

Widely used in motorsport these, and are absolutely solid!
