Triton mixer shower dripping
Discussion
Hi, I have a Triton mixer shower (not sure of the model number) which has just started to drip from the shower head. So I'm looking for advice, would I have to replace the cartridge or just the washer's from the mixer tap itself? if so can you buy a washer/cartridge kit? is this something a novice could attemp or leave it to a professional? I'm not a very experienced DIY'er so any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
It'll be the o rings on the cartidge or the cartridge itself.
Having replaced the o-rings on my Mira mixer around 8 months, it started leaking again a few weeks ago so I went with replacing the cartridge, around £80.
The cartridge was easier to replace as it was one in one out basically, without having to re-seat o-rings etc.
Mine was internally to the dial so a bit fiddly, an external mixer should be a bit easier.
