Pleasantly Surprised Today - Birmingham Suppliers

I went to have a look and get a price for some steel flashings today and was pleasantly surprised at a Steel Stockholder, they buy in 4T rolls of steel and make various roof sheet profiles and flashings, on their machines - saw the machines in action as the owners son showed us the various colour options.

I then went to a granite supplier with the sales office in the factory and watched them cutting and polishing the worktops.

I didn't think we were capable of making things these days, let alone in small units and letting the public see it happening - was a very pleasant change and two orders will shortly follow.
