Is it possible to buy half glazed UPVC French doors? I've scoured Google for ages and not found anything. I'm trying to find replacement doors for my sun room, I hate the fully glazed doors that are currently on it. I even thought about having a front porch-style door put on, with a single door and blank section.

I dont see why not, you will have to find a local manafacturer of them and enquire but it should be possible to have a horizontal split and have the bottom section panelled like a regular back door for example.

Would some form of film not be an easier solution?

Thanks. I'm looking at film in the short term, but long term I want something better. I really worry about the security of the doors, and I don't like the fact that you can see in. I think I'd get half-glazed with frosted glass if I changed them.

From a security point of view its your locks you need to be worried about with French doors not the glass,

You could also just replace the panes of glass for frosted and keep the doors if they are in good nick. Should only be a couple of hundred tops for that.
