Is that a non slip tile? I like the look of the larger tiles- im now upgrading to a double garage!
It appears so:https://www.directtilewarehouse.com/stylish-large-...
And seems well priced too.

To the dotti anthracite tile folk - are you using the 30 x 30 sized tile?
I did. I DIY'ed mine and I think the smaller tiles are easier to lay on an uneven base. If I was paying a pro, I'd have gone for a larger tile. The other thing to note, even though I bought Anthracite Mapei grout, it's still come out several shades lighter than the tiles. With the benefit of hindsight I'd have gone for black grout.

Not sure if I have mentioned this, check the prices of materials when ordering from DirectTileWarehouse. The tiles are quite a good price, but the adhesive/grout might be less competitive.
You wouldn’t have anything like a 20mm buildup, 8-10mm tile plus adhesive will be 13-15mm.
As you would in a house with a threshold bar, you can get metal edges - I used this which seals perfectly the door and provides a “ramp”.

Can I ask how you deal with the front lip of a tiled garage floor?
If you lay the pvc interlocking tiles, they supply a ramp piece for the front edge that you drive your car up, but what do you do with a 20mm thick tile?
I went for Reno Ramp which I think has been referenced on this thread previously. Not cheap but gives a very nice finish and transition ramp between outside and in, while also stopping any damage to the leading edge of tile at your threshold. As said, tile will generally be between 8-10mm and add a few for adhesive etc. Nowhere near 20mm.If you lay the pvc interlocking tiles, they supply a ramp piece for the front edge that you drive your car up, but what do you do with a 20mm thick tile?
Just about to get my garage floor done with the grey Dotti tiles.....couple of questions though....
How is everyone's tiles holding up over time?
And do I need to get the tiler to do a solid bed of adhesive or is standard grooved trowel adhesive ok? The only car to be parked in there is the Caterham which is about 575kg so less than 150kg per wheel.
Thanks

All good, so far.
This photo was taken just after they were lade and before grouting so they are a still dirty.
100% need to be laid on a full bed of adhesive, that is achieved by using a notched trowel
For durability Porcelanosa are worth a look, pricey but will not break. Large car showroom tiled nearly 20 years ago in a white/grey tile still down today and in daily use without a single chip or crack ever occurring. Has had the largest and heaviest of cars/4x4s over it, oil drips on occasion and coffee cups bounced off it.

Perfect, thanks Paul The workshop looks great too!
I'm a lot more excited about getting the garage floor tiled than I should be
Thanks, you are right to be excited the finished product will be worth it. I'm a lot more excited about getting the garage floor tiled than I should be
A lot of time went into choosing the tiles, the floor prep and laying them, they have got to out live me.
