Welsh immigrants.
Just think, some completed that, stood back and thought "fk me, that looks awesome!"

Although, to be fair, it might make sense, but I can't be bothered to churn the numbers...
It looks like it's in a right sthole of an area so I doubt professionals would want to live there...

Always good for DSS though..

Where abouts Ian?

I'm next to Applemore and my parents live on Rollestone Road so I know the area well.

The second one sounds charming:

This unannounced inspection took place on 9 April 2018. At the last inspection we placed the home in special measures and the overall rating was ‘Inadequate’. There were also regulatory breaches in safe care and treatment, staffing and good governance. At this inspection these breaches had not been met and we identified further breaches in other Regulations. Following the last inspection in September 2017, the provider was asked to complete an action plan in November 2017, to show what they would do and by when to improve the key questions of safe and well led to at least good. The provider had not met all the actions on this plan at the time of this inspection and the overall rating for this service is Inadequate which means it remains in special measures. We do this when services have been rated ‘Inadequate’ and we cannot see sustained improvements.

Fantastic view, but that's where it ends sadly.

The Tetris bricks on the outside look rubbish. The interior is typical 80's / 90's nothing a quality sledge hammer wouldn't put right.

Sorry I forgot to add, it's got a fair bit of land.
It needs knocking down as it's appalling, the owner has not only overpriced it, but the final nail is they've split it and are hanging onto a third thus repelling any would-be reckless multi-millionaire from doing that.
What happened is that the original small cottage is actually still in there, they just got their mates from the pub in and built that shell around it, but didn't finish it off. Check out the pics, previous years price fluctuation and how long it's been on the market.

1. It’s not a “farmhouse”; there’s no working farm, just a house with a few acres in equestrian use

2. £400k for a dire looking semi-detached dormer bungalow devoid of character or charm rofl

3. Estate agent doesn’t know the difference between manège and ménage.

It being a semi-detached negated (IMO) the whole point of a house in a location like this.

It wouldn't bother me tbh. Lots of people die everywhere from various causes. A house is a house.

Exactly. Passing up an otherwise suitable house because it's the "murder house" or such is crazy. It's not that house that makes people criminal.

I've had a quick look on the maps but I haven't spotted where it actually is yet. Thought it might have been here but it's not quite the right shape - https://goo.gl/maps/DfGYcWRTCGp
