Ah yes I can see it now, they've hidden the attachment in the photos, but it really looks run down compared to the apparent size of the other properties around it.

Some people just aren't bothered by gruesome occurrences that happened.

I know people that bought a house someone burnt to death in, a fire so intense all that was left was a charred shell and bone fragments.

It didn't bother them until they woke up to the overpowering smell of smoke lingering in the air some years later with no fire to be found they sold up soon after.

It wouldn't bother me tbh. Lots of people die everywhere from various causes. A house is a house.
Exactly. Passing up an otherwise suitable house because it's the "murder house" or such is crazy. It's not that house that makes people criminal.
True, but I withdrew my offer on the house I originally wanted to buy when I found out a child had died there by falling from a window about 10 years previously. That affected me (given we planned on having kids) in a way that say the murder of an adult in the house wouldn't have done. Illogical perhaps I know, but it bothered me anyway.

Leafy Surrey. In the early morn you could rise to the sound of small birds softly thudding against the fronts of lorries on the M25

I've had a quick look on the maps but I haven't spotted where it actually is yet. Thought it might have been here but it's not quite the right shape - https://goo.gl/maps/DfGYcWRTCGp
Fairly sure it's this one
OK, "secluded" could mean away from roads etc, but that house isn't in half-an-acre, is it?

It's the one to the right of the above mentioned, I think you'll find. smile

It's not the brown tiled house, it's the one arrowed.

But I think there must be more land somewhere as this is only 0.28 of an acre

Maybe it was measured with one of those special estate agent measuring tapes.

It could also include the land to the south towards what looks like the neighbours double garage.

I've had another look, I think it's more likely something such as this.

First couple of photos are ok - nothing alarming. But then as you click on - it all goes a bit, well odd!

I’d bet £20 on it being an old Italian woman.

What's going on with the floor plan? Looks like it was printed on a beermat then photographed.

They obviously hate walls. Therefore they cover them all with fabrics

The shape of that house isn't right if you compare it to the floorplan.

yes Basically, a building plot for a replacement house in a very ordinary looking area.
Bit harsh. Walton on the Hill is a nice little backwater, close to a top quality golf course and on the edge of the North Downs. I don't live there, but I can see the appeal if you don't need the train for commuting (Pfizer and Fidelity have large offices nearby)

It's hardly a "real estate nightmare", it's just another dilapidated bungalow that is ready to be knocked down and replaced with something more modern.
