I have serious doubts that Hocus Pocus Hall is genuinely for sale. Looks like a PR thing to me.

Put in an offer, but get them to agree to free family and friends tickets for life.

Then invite 500 people round each weekend and give them all free tickets.
Wait for the theme park to go bust.
Buy it up cheap.
Turn it into a swimming pool.
Or a vegetable plot.

I’m surprised any of the pictures have managed to stay on the wall biggrin

“Period features.....property adorned with much character, charm and history”. The only period features are the cast iron fireplaces. And that large flat-roofed extension really respects the buildng’s character and form. hehe

What kind of abortion is this.

I'm assuming it's one half of a semi but listing says detached. Love the inspirational video music with the camera smooth panning around building materials and general st everywhere.

Yep, looks like a semi but they forgot to build the other half.

Well, you'd certainly know your station in life if you did purchase it.

Mate of mine has a two bed flat in Penge and didn’t pay much less than that. Yes, it’s Penge but it’s an easy enough commute and at £450k it’s not priced much over a flat in that area?

Hope the estate agent is smart enough to have advertised is on trainspotters forums.

Only thing that house has going for it is the fact the trains stop at midnight and don't start again till 5am.

Penge East is one of the most dangerous stations on that line, they won't run ticket inspections there, I personally wouldn't feel secure living there as a schoolmate was stabbed to death for no reason frown

buy a place for 6k 8 years ago, spend 20k on a glass front, do nothing with the internals and ask 250k.

Simples.

Been up for sale over a year now. Surely that should signal that it's over priced.

Not sure. I just think it's a bit of a sleeper.

Spotted in a listing not too far from me, it's one way to mount a TV...

Train stopped right outside the train house posted on the previous page, I don't see who in their right mind would pay half a million to live there.
They repainted the outside last week but within hours someone had climbed up the lamppost and graffitied.

There's also another house slightly further down, due to it being double the size I assume it would go for double the price?

Remarkably respectful of the windows in that artwork.
