In Rye, a town of many second homes, this beautiful old house, on a cobbled street overlooking the church. What's not to like?

The wet room.

Crazy prices in Kenilworth now.
Small world - I grew up 3 streets from there & my great nan lived a few doors down from that house. Those are the few surviving that were built for the workers of the Fellmongery that was down Mill End. They were cramped, cold & damp 25 years ago & I doubt have improved with time.

Having done 3 renovations , I thought I had seen every type of 70's bathroom going.

However, let me present "The Boat"

Nice little house, but some way from the sea!

The bath looks fun, but that little seat would make it impossible to lie down.

If you're going to have a boat bath, why would you not have a sea blue carpet.

Why are the prices so high? It's not close to anywhere major?

The half-collapsed wall in the garden is slightly alarming.
