was my thought too! I can't understand why you'd buy a church/chapel and then try and strip all the personality out of it confused
Looks like it is been used by the council or something similar for storage.

That just gets creepier the more you look.
Big office, lounge area with lots of seating, loads of bedrooms, bars on the inside of the windows - looks like a dodgy brothel with trafficked workers.

Though guess number one did involve caravans. From the satellite it looks like they actually breed the things there.

Very nice. I like the window bars especially.

Looking at what's around it you can see they'd be essential.
Caravan breakers, surrounded by razor wire on 3 sides

Window bars for when the barbwire and high-security fencing fails to keep them back.

I assume it is/was the owner's house, so they may be targeted by a group to keep them busy while the site is raided?

What group would want to mess with a load of old caravans...

Wow.

It's like squatters broke in then decided to make it a permanent thing due to some twist in the law.
It looks like it was either squatters, or offered very cheaply for rental to some interesting arty characters. Some of the furniture looks quite solid, it's not some cheap Ikea crap. My guess is someone got it cheap years ago and didn't really know what to do with it, so rented it out dirt cheap to someone for years, who didn't cause any bother so was just left to turn it into a workable home however they liked. They probably bricked up the window because it broke and just needed it closed up.

Do people really still use CRT televisons?
Old TVs are like asbestos, if you can just leave it in situ it is easier than removing it.

The whole area nearby seems to be infested with the sort of people who like mobile homes, horses, flat bed transits and fly tipping.

This one genuinely had me laughing out loud, so thought I'd post it here.
The potential on this one though!!!!
Gone when they bricked up the windows.

The cost to reinstate them would be astronomical.

Now you've just got an inconvenient living space without the nice architectural features.
You know what to expect when the exterior shot is left to the end.
It was hardly a picturesque chocolate box period chapel before the windows were bricked up. Assuming they don’t need structural work (do arch windows like that have lintels I’m guessing not!) they are huge windows that would cost probably £2k each plus take
Quite some effort to knock bricks out, make good and fit windows. Say 2 blokes 2 days each @ £250 plus some for materials. So maybe 6-8 windows £20k-£30k?

Issue is it looks a pretty st area so presumably £300k can get quite a good turnkey property there

I wouldn't mind having a high end one if I had the space for it, and the money to buy one, like a PVM or BVM; just to play old video games consoles through them.

Classy. Needs another lion though.

Please tell me that's a manhole cover half obscured by the bottom step. I wouldn't want to be the person to tell them the steps have got to come out

This beauty is in Kilmarnock, near Rugby Park, the home of my beloved Kilmarnock Football Club. You can see the Stadium from the garden.

The kitchen is oddly off-theme.
