Having seen NMM's 'designer' clothes range, that interior does not surprise me one bit.

This house would have cost millions!!
"The Elsworthy Collection" what a load of codswallop. Feel sorry for the owners, though.

Seems like an easy enough project to me. Strip it all out to a shell and start over. No different than stripping out some half decent fittings that are just a bit tired. The windows look nice and original though, I wonder what other original features are hidden under the junk.

Every area has a house like that, isn't there a phrase 'buy the worst house on the best street'?
The fact it's in wolverhampton would put most people off, even after restoration.

Where's the bedroom? 1.2 million for 26m2 (smaller than our living room) Am I missing something or is it all down to location?

Presumably the planning permission is to add another corridor on top of the existing one......

Some strong interior design choices in this one. Interesting given the Scottish castle exterior...
I quite like that - traditional on the outside, as befits setting, but brought up to date inside. Not agreeing with all the decor choices but definitely interesting twist on a country house.

I don't suffer from claustrophobia but the way that tapers the further along it gets makes me feel anxious!

Awful.

A friend is looking at this near Worksop - I'm actually torn between thinking it is a properly well thought out socialising place, and totally Mrs Hinch Council.

S'alright, if you like to decor to come from Dunelm.

I think having a 'bar' in your house is incredibly chav, but it'd be a ten minute job to remove it and make it into a useful room once again.

Its the house equivalent of a car being driven through halfords, like they've picked up a magazine and just chosen it all

Rooflights, Bifolds, Recessed LED's, Column Rads, Cinema Room, Bar, oooh Grey is in fashion, paint everything grey

Looks better on streetview hehe
Several of those mews properties have been truncated in some way to make room for the new building behind. This one is at the pointy end.

Click on the streetview tab on Carbon Sasquatch's rightmove link. smile

Bare in mind you can see a correct streetview of it if it's put in the right place (first link)

Convenient location, if you like KFC/McD/Costa/Harvester. Not uncommon for vehicles to be stolen from that estate as it's only a minute to the M1 for a quick disappearance. Also used as a cut through for traffic avoiding the queues top & bottom of the estate when the local businesses finish at half5.
