That is a properly creepy place. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and suggest it might be a slightly older single bloke that's selling. biggrin
Looks like he was planning on leaving in a rush with a half packed bag and some clothes on the bed.
The whole place is a bin!

THAT is precisely what this thread is for.

I need to know more. Why? Who is this person? I think you are right it is an older man, he was a hippy in the 60's and took WAY too much LSD (when it was really strong).

My favourite photo is the gathering with the baby, the dog and the nekkid lady.

This place has cropped up about 10 miles from me.

Bear in mind that the locality is not exactly highly favoured, this is strong money, even with an acre of land..

This one just popped up on feed.

1st thought was not dear for the area, then ooh its not identikit either. Then it dawned on me. They've built it the wrong way round!

I expect it'll be snapped up though.

why do so many of these listings have mannequens all over the place? its more common that i though. very disturbing. even more so that this persons house is a mess..except for the area they keep these mannequins, which is spotless.

Really, really odd house. Seems like an family decanted out of a large mansion estate taking some of the interior and the contents of the wine cellar (not much wine left by the look of things) with them.

Jesus! Clicked through the first couple of photos thinking ‘they could have tidied the place up a bit before the photos were done’ then got to the mannequins!

American homes can be pretty expensive considering they are thrown up in a few weeks and made of asbestos and spit.

And the first bit of 45 MPH wind and they fall to bits.
Literally made of Lego and glue.

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark me that's horrible. And there are several others in the same style! (Where style means: no style)
Is that Shinfield way? Unless it's changed dramatically in the last 15 years it's not a particularly nice bit of Reading!
East of Whitley, but not far enough to be Early or Woodley. So yes, st hole location, or at least having to drive though st hole location. smile
Ugh I used to work in Woodley when I was at uni.
Somewhere between the campus and Lower Earley, or in that rough direction, during the early 90s, they built an entire cul de sac of this type of design. They were all wedges in with monumental porticos. We had never realised prior to then that those sort of people existed n Berkshire.

I don't know if this is one of them or if that cul de sac triggered a whole movement in Reading?
I had a mooch around that close on Streetview - it looks like the mainstreet through Sochi.

Apart from the baby / dog /mannequin scene, my next best favourite thing is the collection of bedsteads arranged as a focal ‘feature’ in front of the fireplace.

You do get two properties for your money there (at least if I'm reading the description right).

Bosham is lovely but the 'outsiders' market is expensive, yes.
That property obviously floods from time to time (look at the front door).

Yep - need to spot that it's in the second row and only has "harbour glimpses" biggrin
