Potato Wharf? They seemed to have borrowed one of the potatoes to take the photos.

Suggest you go and check out #tyronash on Twitter. Serious ridicule.

It turns out that our 'agent' has form for dealing in other things too: https://citiblogmk.wordpress.com/2015/03/30/milton...

One of his ‘partners’ has this as her Twitter profile pic. It’s like Phone Shop for estate agents realtors.

No, it’s not an office building, it’s “A handcrafted, innovative, sophisticated and opulent highly evolved five double bedroom family home”. So there! The interior is no better than the outside and I find it bizarre that the few bits of stuff they have in the garden are pushed out to the edges.

Speaking of living in an office building... (New York, just £35,270,000)

I kind of like that. I mean it'd make the architect cry when they saw what i'd do to their master piece to make it actually liveable but if i had that much to spend on it i wouldn't care. Mind you there are a lot of places I'd spend £35m on before that.

There are places I’d spend 350k on before spending a penny on that.
It is absolutely horrendous.

It's even worse when you view it in relation to the buildings around it on Streetview

It’s absolutely fine - not everyone wants wood beams and inglenook fireplaces. biggrin My only concern is how you “draw the curtains”. Would be quite cool if they have that clear / opaque switch thing built into the glass.

For £35m I be very disappointed if they didn't.

True, but no need to go all the way that to 'estate agent's head office contained within goldfish bowl'.

Especially not in the middle of a city. One thing to have a nice glass fronted penthouse at the top of the block, but to have a whole house exposed like that wouldn't be a nice idea to me. In rolling countryside, perhaps. In a city, no thanks (and that comes from someone who has lived in a city penthouse for the last 10 years with 2 floors of glass on 2 sides!).

To be fair I would rather have the one to the right of it, or two to the left......or a lot of other places first!

You have to ask how much you'd be willing to pay for it.

A couple of million and you could put up with how awful it looks but for £35m, yeah good luck with that one.

I became aware of it through the Rightmove blog:

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/news/articles/dream-pr...

They suggest the exterior is "bullet proof" and that the glass is from Germany, it was then sent to Spain to be curved and then shipped to the US. Seems a bit OTT.

Apparently designed by Rafael Viñoly Architects for the Argentinian billionaire and businessman Eduardo Eurnekian.

Given you’re buying the building and the location, it’s going to be an easy xx million regardless of what it looks like...

Agreed. A whole building, walkable to Central Park, is always going to be worth that.
