Not so much nightmare, more of an 'eh'

Dining room now toy room, fair enough, new dining room freezing conservatory off living room

What are the silver shower hose things next to the toilets in pics 12 and 13? DIY bidet?

Showers look to have at least an 8" step to get in through a pretty narrow entrance, probably standard new build offering
Standard new'ish build stuff. Our old house was like that - big steps up into showers etc. We didn't have bum hose pipes though.

Handy for the motorway (in that it's less than 600m away).
Less handy for the motorway in that you've got to drive up a one lane road to get to it. Along with everyone else in Rammy/Summerseat/Greenmount in a morning

Anyone fancy a shed on an island? For £325k. Or, under the Scottish system, more like £360k.

Added highlight: the Jack and Jill bathroom that isn't.

I thought it was trying to be a Grand Design style house as I was thinking of this one, which was cheaper 4 years ago - https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2691390/G... - but it's still terrible.

I've just realised that actually *is* a shed. The layouts are "illustrative." Looking closely at the photos, the only internal partitions I can see are those around the toilet as you come in the front door.

That is an estate agent and a vendor who are well and truly taking the piss. And someone will buy it. Because it's on Arran.

Ah yes, the one that the roof blew off because of those massive overhangs in one of the windiest parts of the country...

Partial house renovation and the money dried up after they bought the new kitchen units and flooring?

I see that they found somewhere to carefully extend at the front, and that was where the original front door was.

And I couldn't buy it. The first house on this thread that has the garage dimensions, shown. And it's too small. The rest of it, is fine.....apart from.the price..

Interestingly I looked at the sales history, visible on the same page. 2017, £275k. One iffy re-work floorplan later double the money!

I’d not to want live in something that looks like a village hall.
