Horrific, but a developer will make a good few quid on that.

who on earth signed off that front extension?

https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/101464178#/

And the front door all the way down the back, leading into the ktichen...
And I'd just deleted my post, as I re-considered that it wasn't worthy of the the subject title laugh
I see that they found somewhere to carefully extend at the front, and that was where the original front door was.

And I couldn't buy it. The first house on this thread that has the garage dimensions, shown. And it's too small. The rest of it, is fine.....apart from.the price..
Looks like the house next door has the same 'extension'?

It does at first glance look like that. Streetview on the ad shows the one for sale pre-renovation, and the neighbouring bungalow is better sighted. The look is similar, but it retains its front door. IMO the one for sale has only been extended further forward to allow its master bedroom to fit an on-suite.

That bed! I'd be constantly smashing my elbows against the sides. What a terrible design.

Possibly .... I'd never have another waterbed. My wife and I just drifted apart when we got one.

Beds with wrong mattresses, mattresses on the floor, missing drawers from the chest, unopened post on the kitchen counter, prosumer network kit still plugged in, rack in a top floor cupboard.
Makes no sense!

I'm thinking furnished let, possibly to someone who returned home somewhere abroad (hence the liquid soap and toilet duck etc left behind)

O/T but similar, I used to work with someone who sold their house to an employee of a huge far east conglomerate who was coming to the UK to run their newly established operation. It was someone like Hyundai or Proton or Kia or similar, don't remember which. They offered on his house on the first view, but then also asked how much for all (and I mean all) 'fittings'. He had to provide a list of personal things they were taking, like photos and a few bits that were personal to him and his family. Everything else was to stay. He made a bit of an error that meant he forgot to list his tools (and got stopped by a representative of the buyer when he was going to take them from the shed) but otherwise it was a very lucrative deal for him

I'd imagine it looked a bit like the linked house above

I'd make a feature out of that, dress it as a war of the worlds fighting machine or something.

I looked through the first half dozen pictures, and thought that you were being a bit over-critical. smile
