Is THAT how they appear? One sees these people moving about one's home, but you dont like to interfere. Presumably the lawn stripes appear in a similar way? smile

No idea what's happened to this house overall as its a bit of a wreck, but picture 11 has creeped me out with the Alfred hitchcock-esque silhouette in the doorway...

Let's say you were stupid enough to buy that and then smart enough to remove the pebbledash. It's often occured to me what a house wuld look like post-pebbledash, so has anyone got any idea?

Probably even worse (if that’s possible) as cheap bricks will have been used behind the pebbledash

I have to say, even if that was the only option I'd not want a loose sliding door dividing it. You can imagine somebody dropping a wretched smelling turd, and then everybody having to smell it for hours later, while cooking, entertaining guests etc.
edit: At least there seems to be an extractor fan, I hope it's a good one...

Probably awful, better to render it and then paint. My parents had it done and it looks a million times better.

Seems very expensive for the area and size of house - am I missing something?

Seems normal based on other houses sold - https://www.rightmove.co.uk/house-prices/ng9/beest... It's one of the cheaper houses.

Apologies - I was talking about the derelict one in Wales (I should have quoted the post).

I think an equivalent new build house would be 300-350, but with the obvious less land/garden etc. Strong money!

Yes - someone once pointed out to me that if you own the only rendered / pebbledashed house on the street it's probably because there is some nightmare with the brickwork hiding behind.
