Ugly, inside and out. Weird layout crammed into 2150 square feet which, whilst not tiny, hardly deserves the description of "immense" in the advertisement. And right beside the South circular and A23, neither of which are noted for being quiet or traffic free.

And £1.1m asking.

Harry, how do you keep finding these ‘venues’? What on Earth are you actually hoping to find when searching ‘abnormally high number of bedrooms crammed into 1930s house on main road and a frontage crammed with cars’? biggrin

It'll be about how much people are prepared to pay for much worse properties than you have just bought and refurbished in the same area. It's comfort research. Right Harry?

The description sounds dreamy cloud9

"The fantastic sized lounge is bright, with dinning area and double doors to garden. The kitchen/breakfast room is in good order with views and access to the garden, there is separate living space on the ground floor with two bedrooms, shower room, en-suite bathroom, a further kitchen and living area."

I heard something on the radio last week about making all UK Estate Agents properly licensed or something.

I think the first qualification criterion should be "Can you fking spell DINING?"

Student shared house maybe? I can't see why else you'd need so many kitchens all over the place.

My assumption is that it's an extended family who share(d) a property.

I assumed it's an HMO with each room rented separately, but there's no mention of that in the description.

This is perfect if you are colourblind and looking for a home styled on a 1980s independent hotel complex.

In terms of price for those of you in the south who think it looks cheap, it is in the top 2% price wise of properties in a 20 ish mile radius around Glasgow.

This one, just because of the stunning photography.
Photo 2 - lounge.
Photo 3 - lounge, same pic, BUT WITH T'BIG LIGHT ON /PeterKay
Photo 4 - lounge, same 3/4 angle, but photo taken with a selfie stick.
Photo 11 - bathroom.
Photo 12 - bathroom, taken approximately 6 inches further into the room from the same angle. Zoooom.
Genius.

If so, they did a good job(bie).
Picture 14 - here's the same room before we started...
And picture 15 - "we call this the Pink Commie room"
Picture 17 - Ed Balls.

Spot on Johnnie! I have a standing search on for 5 bed properties in SW2, to make myself feel better at having bought and refurbished at the very top of the market! smile

These are the actions of a serial refurbisher Flash! You have your dream home (I believe you have said that sometime in a recent thread when you were desperate to find a way of buying where you now live?) so, frankly, value shouldn't be an issue anymore. You'll know if it starts going down because we shall all be shouting out loud about the late 1980's/ early 1990's and how awful it was for us all! Stop concerning yourself about it fella. Enjoy living in the house.

Not one property in particular but one aspect that drives me mad.

A solid door for privacy but then have full length glass around it. Seems to be quite popular these days.

I expected to see a yellow Reliant van parked outside, or perhaps Uncle Albert sat in the rowing boat going on about the war.
